Exclusive new Clean Equations songs on Philebrity!

April 9th, 2010

A new Clean Equations song called “Plenty of Fish in Fishtown (Meet Me in Kensington)” was selected by the awesome Philadelphia blog Philebrity as one of the “Ten Best Reader Submitted Songs About Philly.”  Recorded to cassette 4 track in the Derivative Room earlier this week.  It’s somewhat more lo-fi than most of the new songs, but it still has the Clean Equations charm.

This song won’t be on the new album, so you can only get it there.  Enjoy!

March 30th, 2010

Just a reminder that Mike will be playing a Clean Equations solo set at Danger Danger Gallery tonight in West Philly. He will be sharing the stage with Controlled Storms (Philly) and City Center (Detroit/NYC).

You may remember City Center from the sweet State Capital Records Field Recordings vinyl compilation that we had a track on.

Show at 8 PM.

See you then!
